It’s the final Atlanta Braves’ game of the season, they already have 90 losses but they need to win this game. From the team fighting a potential sweep to Fried looking to end strong, this is everything you need to know before the game.

It’s finally here…the final game of the regular season. A few more teams will get to play in the playoffs but the Atlanta Braves are done.

They will come into the final game with a 71-90 W-L record, another 90 loss season. They are also currently on a 6 games losing streak unlike last year where they won out the final week.

The Miami Marlins pummeled Lucas Sims and the Braves to a 10-1 loss and now find themselves fighting to avoid a sweep again.

However, they can still end the season with a win as Max Fried takes the mound for Atlanta. The game will start at 3:10 ET, every other game in MLB will start within the 3:05-3:20 gap as well.

Braves will stick with the same line-up that they’ve been using with Ender Inciarte (thumb) not starting again.

On the Marlins’ side, they are putting Giancarlo Stanton in the lead-off spot as he hopes to get 60 home-runs on the season. That should be interesting to watch.

Also, the front office hasn’t decide, or at least announce, if manager Brian Snitker will be returning as the skipper for 2018. Last year, the Braves ending strong influenced in the team bringing back Snitker, so today’s game should do the same. How he handles the final game of the season should factor in the decision.

Grant McAuley’s giveaway for an Andruw Jones signed hat is still going on so if you haven’t RT’d to enter, go ahaead.
