Okay, we all have this feeling of impending doom about next week.  So in the meantime, I’d like to suggest a few things that MLB could impose that would be at least as bad whatever they actually have in mind.

It’s like getting a shot at the Doctor’s office.  You know it’s coming; you know you’re not gonna like it; yet there’s nothing you can do about it.  Such it is as the Atlanta Braves await their sentencing hearing.

They’ve already done everything possible to mitigate the damage:  cooperated with MLB investigators, semi-fired John Coppolella, semi-fired Gordon Blakeley, mostly retired John Hart.

I guess if you hand is caught in the cookie jar, you may as well throw yourself upon the mercy of the court.

Hopefully this wasn’t a matter of several hands and a couple of feet in that jar.  Guess we’ll find out starting tomorrow.

In the meantime, here is a list of 10 possible alternative punishments that I would like to suggest MLB consider.
