Braves Freeman could be getting into a new hobby

‘Tis the season to be jolly, fa, la, la, la, la, is baseball back?

The 2017-2018 MLB offseason has been slow for the Atlanta Braves as well as the entire MLB it feels like.  Is it the new competitive balance tax that’s strangle holding teams or have the dominos just not fallen yet?

Since Alex Anthopoulos has took the General Manager reigns in Atlanta (November 13th), he’s made four trades, a few low-key signings and two solid draft picks in the Rule 5 draft.  That seems like a lot, but folks want more.

Now this Jon Morosi tweet about the Braves checking in with the Marlins about Christian Yelich has all the social butterflies swarming.  No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors and AA doesn’t seem like the type of GM that will share what’s exactly happening.

It’s that time of year though…any little whisper of a rumor, people run with it.

This post however isn’t a rumor or a speculation article.  Should be considered a little hearted read and watch that hopefully will make you smile a little.

Braves first baseman, Freddie Freeman, seems to be enjoying the offseason a lot — follow his wife @chelseafree5 on Instagram or Dan Uggla’s wife.  They’ve had get togethers and even PJ parties.

Freeman’s wife, Chelsea, posted on her Instagram story today a pretty hilarious video.  It’s of Freddie trying to play the guitar.  I use the word “trying” loosely.  He’s more strumming…kinda like what I would do if I tried to pick back up my guitar.

This could have been a Christmas gift to Freddie this year and he’s giving it a try.  Which I’m thinking it probably was.  But it could have been an old dusty musical instrument that he just picked back up.

Here are the two videos…

The look by Freddie in the featured image of this page explains everything.

This made me chuckle and hopefully it did the same for you.  Though I enjoyed watching him try to play the guitar, watching him every night on the ball field is what I’m looking forward to.  91 days until 2018 Opening Day!
