Atlanta Braves: A look at the Braves star-studded All-Time team

Braves have a stout history of great players, let’s go through them

Since it’s January 31st and the winter months have been slow in news, let’s reflect on some of the great moments of the Atlanta Braves history.

We have seen — well not all of us — some terrific ball players wear the Braves uniform.  The organization began in 1871 in Boston.  The Braves are the oldest continuous professional baseball franchise going from Boston to Milwaukee to Atlanta.

With Chipper Jones going into the Hall of Fame this year, the Braves organization now has 55 players in the MLB HoF.  55 guys that wore a Braves uniform at some point in their career!

This list is kind of tough because I have my love and loyalty for a few players, but then you’ve got to look at the stats in other cases.  Some players you may have never heard of before, but their career stats are something you should remember.

This was a fun exercise since we’re just around the corner with the 2018 season.  I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and who you’d think would be on your list.  Also, on my last page, I put together a lineup using these guys.  Oh yeah, talk about fun/difficult!
