SunTrust Park is a great place to watch a baseball game… if you can get there from here.

Back in early March, co-editor Jeff Schafer was sent to Florida to watch the Atlanta Braves in a Chevy Cruze diesel.  I can’t quite get into one of those, so the fine folks doing their promotions kindly offered to send me to Opening Day… in something a bit bigger:

In this work we do here at TomahawkTake, there are occasionally a few perks that are available… but thus far, this one takes the cake.  I had not been in a ‘modern’ Chevrolet product before – this one rode extremely well:  smoother than most cars (seriously) and quiet enough to hold conversations even with the sound system going strong.  I admit that I am impressed – definitely exceeded my own expectations by a strong margin.

The thing actually saved us phone data usage since it can function as a wireless Hot Spot(!) and my wife immediately hooked up her iPod to the stereo system, so she had her tunes the entire way… well, at least when I didn’t wrest control away to listen to the MLB Network Radio channel on XM.

Never before driven a car with a keyless fob… that was nice too:  no more fumbling for keys… just push the button and go.  There were a lot of buttons, too:  there were bells and whistles on this vehicle that I truly didn’t know existed (like a blind-spot warning on the side mirrors).  Chevy treated us very well.

But on top of that… getting sent to Opening Day was a real treat from those folks.  So let me relate my tips and tricks from the day.  There was a lot to take in at SunTrust Park.
