Atlanta Braves: 2018 Mississippi Braves Season Review

The 2018 minor league regular season has come to a close for the Atlanta Braves, and while the won-loss record at some levels may not be what they’d like, the development of players for the future of the organization is what is the goal of the Braves. Let’s see how each team has done with that, focusing on the Mississippi Braves today.
Mississippi was one of the few teams in the Atlanta Braves system in 2018 that competed through the year, only getting eliminated from the playoffs on the final Saturday of the season. During the season, the roster was constantly in flux, but with the polish that the young players are getting in the lower levels, they are arriving with the M-Braves already ready to work together as a team for the short time they’re in Mississippi.
Overall, the Mississippi Braves finished the year 67-71, but it can be argued that many of the best performances of the entire season came from this roster!
