As we inch closer to the 2018 MLB Winter Meetings, we look at four things we hope to know about the Atlanta Braves before leaving Las Vegas.

The hot stove has been on fire lately and it feels like we are building up to have a busy Winter Meetings in Las Vegas next week. Hopefully the Atlanta Braves will part of that mix.

In the past, Braves general manager Alex Anthopoulos has not been very active at the Winter Meetings because he doesn’t want to feel pressured into making a deal. He’d rather wait till things settle down before giving a player big money, which is understandable.

However, with the way this offseason is moving, he may not be afforded that luxury at this year’s Winter Meetings, which starts December 9 and runs through the 13th.

After a slow offseason last year, teams seem to be eager to get things done this year — especially in the NL East.

Even the Atlanta Braves have been busy with the signings of Josh Donaldson and Brian McCann.

But there are still several things we as Braves fans hope to know by the end of the Winter Meetings. Even if AA doesn’t make any major moves, we can at least hope we hear rumors of who he might be interested in.

The other part of that is, AA runs a very tight ship and we usually don’t hear about moves for the Braves until they’re official or close to being official.

The Winter Meetings is the most exciting part of the offseason, and I hope the Braves are very active at this year’s meetings.
