2. The Braves offense continues to pound opposing pitchers

The Atlanta Braves offense has found its rhythm and has been relentless since the Phillies series. The offense scored 7 runs on 12 hits and were 4 for 9 with runners in scoring position. It was an all around great night for the offense.

It seems that Ronald Acuna Jr. is starting to make adjustments and has been rewarded with home runs in consecutive games — finishing Tuesday night 2 for 4. It’s a good sign that Acuna is starting to drive the ball to the opposite field. Let’s hope he is about to go on a nice offensive run for Atlanta.

Dansby Swanson continues to swing a hot bat as he went back-to-back nights with 3 RBI. The Atlanta Braves shortstop has been on fire since Opening Day. Swanson now carries a .324 average with 11 hits including 4 home runs and 15 RBI. He currently leads the team in RBI and home runs. Who in the world saw that coming in the first two weeks of the season?

Other notable performances were from Freddie Freeman and Nick Markakis who both were 2 for 4 with a pair of runs batted in. Freddie Freeman now has a 12 game hitting streak going and that shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Josh Donaldson is continuing to make strong contact with the ball. He finished the game 1 for 5 with a double and run scored with only 1 strike out. It seems that Donaldson is seeing the ball well but just not finding any holes on the field.

The offense has never really concerned most Braves fans but it should concern every team in the NL East. This team is going to battle each and every inning despite the score.
