The Atlanta Braves struggled to get anything going offensively on Tuesday evening.

Max Fried had a rough first inning and left in the second inning after being hit with a line drive. The Atlanta Braves announced during the game that he left with a contusion on his left hand and is day-to-day.

That pretty much determined the rest of the night as the Braves never really put up much of a fight after that as they got shutout by Hyun-Jin Ryu.

Los Angeles continues to be a tough opponent for the Braves to solve.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been one of the toughest opponents for the Atlanta Braves in recent years. Unfortunately, that has once again been the case as the Dodgers have taken the first two games of their series with Atlanta.

The Atlanta Braves bats went silent on Tuesday night as Hyun-Jin Ryu shined on the mound for L.A.

Only 4 hits were allowed by Ryu as he pitched a complete game shut-out. It was definitely a night to forget if you were an Atlanta Braves fan.

The Dodgers pushed across 9 runs on 11 hits and were fueled offensively by Justin Turner who would finish the game 4-for-5 with 3 home runs and 6 RBI.

The Braves could not find any momentum offensively as they made a lot of outs on the first pitch and made a lot of weak contact.

The team will have to try and put this one behind quickly as they face Clayton Kershaw on Wednesday with the chance of getting swept.

Let’s discuss some of the main storylines from Tuesday’s loss.
