The Calendar has flipped to June and the races are starting to heat up like the weather. The Atlanta Braves had a rough week but finished it up decently.

Let’s recap the last week of action with our weekly MLB Power Rankings.

1. Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers have gone 9-1 over the teams last 10 games. They swept the Phillies this weekend and obviously, in the process they helped the Atlanta Braves out.

2. Houston Astros

Houston beat the Cubs 2 out of 3 and then swept the Athletics. Shouldn’t be a major problem but injuries are starting to mount up, the latest being Carlos Correa.

3. New York Yankees

This team is dangerous now, but just wait until Aaron Judge, and Giancarlo Stanton come back. In the meantime, Gary Sanchez is providing the power for the Bronx Bombers

4. Minnesota Twins

The Twins have gone 15-3 over its last 18 games. They have the biggest division lead in all of baseball and are the closest thing to a lock for the playoffs this far. They are in great shape.

5. Tampa Bay Rays

After a tough series with the aforementioned Twins, the Rays will look to get back on track this week against the Tigers on the road. That shouldn’t be a problem since the Rays own the best road winning percentage.

6. Milwaukee Brewers

How about Zach Davies? The Brewers starter is 6-0 with a 2.20 ERA so far this season. If the Brewers can get great pitching to go along with that offense, they could be the Dodgers biggest threat.

7. Philadelphia Phillies

The Phillies ran into the Dodgers and were swept right out of town. Now, they travel down the California coast and face the Padres this week. Hopefully, the Phillies do some more losing.

8. Atlanta Braves

The Atlanta Braves had a rare 2 off day week last week. They got hammered by the Nationals, but bounced back and took the final two from Detroit. Austin Riley continues to impress with his power.

9. Chicago Cubs

The NL Central is a wacky division so far this year. One team will get hot, only to follow up with a cold stretch. This time, its the Cubs turn who have given the division lead back to the Brewers.

10. Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox desperately needed that win Sunday night against the Rival Yankees. They’ve still lost 4 of the team’s last 5 games, but maybe that win Sunday will still keep them going in the AL East.
