We have hit the All-Star break and the Atlanta Braves are in a good position. Let’s recap them along with the rest of the league in our weekly MLB Power Rankings.

It’s been a great first half for the Atlanta Braves. After an uneven start, they enter the All-Star break with a 6-game lead in the NL East, and they look like the second-best team in the National League.

30. Detroit Tigers

The biggest question remaining around the Tigers is if they will deal out Matthew Boyd? They reportedly have a big asking price on the lefty, and why not? He comes with plenty of team control beyond this year.

29. Kansas City Royals

It sure would have been nice if the Royals would have pulled off the comeback yesterday against the Nationals for us Atlanta Braves fans. But hey, at least they managed to get one out of the three games.

28. Baltimore Orioles

Renato Nunez is another player getting to shine on this Baltimore team. Hopefully for Oriole fans, this team will only be bad for a couple more seasons.

27. Miami Marlins

Much like the Pirates, this Marlins team played the Braves awfully close this past weekend. They have played better since the middle of May and could play a huge factor in who wins the NL East this season.

26. New York Mets

It wouldn’t be a normal week if we didn’t have more Mets drama getting spilled out by the press. Before they will be good again, they need to figure out the clubhouse and the front office. Way too much drama behind the scenes

25. Seattle Mariners

The best deal this past offseason in a few years may indeed turn out to be that Edwin Diaz/ Robinson Cano swap the Mariners pulled off. The prospects they received back are raking in the minor leagues.

24. Toronto Blue Jays

Toronto made a smart call in resting Marcus Stroman until after the All-Star break. He along with Ken Giles are the team’s biggest trading chips and personally, I would love for the Atlanta Braves to look into both.

23. San Francisco Giants

The Giants finished out the first half on a good run winning 7 of the teams last 9. Keeping up that play out of the gate in the second half and this team can make a run at .500.

22. Colorado Rockies

The Rockies were making a run at the NL Wild Card, and then they went and lost six straight to close out the first half to fall below .500. They will need a good start out of the gate to get back into it.

21. Chicago White Sox

The good news is the White Sox have a lot of prospects that are right on the cusp of getting to the show. Combine that with the young talent they already have and they could be a force starting next season.
