No more August trades, which means that this July 31st should be pretty crazy. The Atlanta Braves have so far been linked to almost every available starter. We are going to rank them here.

But first, let’s do a little house cleaning. The Atlanta Braves offense needs no help. I think we can all agree on that. I don’t see the Braves making any sort of deal for any sort of bat.

However, again, we have been linked to every starter that is supposedly on the market so far. I think it’s becoming clearer and clearer by the day that the Braves want to upgrade the team’s rotation.

I won’t argue with that, as I think we can improve on a potential postseason rotation.

Still, I want to add an established closer as well. In fact, that would be my July wish list for the Atlanta Braves — a starter and a closer.

Some may say we still need more bullpen help, but the bullpen has actually been good for the last month or two and I am of the belief that some of these younger arms can contribute out of the pen.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Kevin Gausman returning to the pen, or maybe even Mike Foltynewicz. I still believe in Folty returning to form, but for this year, the best option might just be him returning back to Atlanta the Sean Newcomb route.

I also wouldn’t mind it if Max Fried goes back to the pen if we get another established starter. After a hot start, he has kind of regressed some and I wonder if a temporary bullpen move would bring his stuff back to where it was?

Lastly, maybe it’s another exciting prospect that the Braves pen can rely on? Maybe Ian Anderson?

Anyways, for this article, we are going to rank in order who I think the Atlanta Braves should target the most from the bottom to the top.
