With the 2019 trade deadline approaching and no August waiver trades, we look at how the Atlanta Braves can become a World Series contender in 2019.

The question for the Atlanta Braves and many fans reading this article is whether or not you think the Braves can make the moves to win a World Series this year, and if it’s worth going for it in 2019.

We are going to look at three trades that could make the Atlanta Braves World Series contenders this year, but I’m not necessarily saying that’s what the team should do.

I already wrote recently how the Atlanta Braves only need to make a trade this summer if they think it makes them better than the Dodgers.

Right now, the Dodgers are the toast of the National League — and it’s really not close.

Unless the Dodgers suffer a number of injuries over the next couple of months, it’s hard to see anyone competing with them.

The only team that can matchup with their starting pitching is the Washington Nationals. But the Atlanta Braves are hoping to keep the Nats out of the postseason altogether.

I’m going to be basing these trades off the list that MLB Trade Rumors put together of the top 60 trade candidates.

Again, if the Atlanta Braves are going to make any moves this summer, they have to be shopping at the top of this list.

And they have the prospects to get any of these players that they want.

The reason I say they have to shop at the top of this list is that no one outside of the top 10 will really be an upgrade for this team.

They really don’t have the room on the roster to make an upgrade to the bench, nor do they really need to right now.

And while I understand they need another starter, if it’s not a top of the rotation pitcher, we have plenty four and five starters that I’d rather us use.

I also think we have plenty of internal options for the bullpen except at closer.

With that mind, we’ll be focusing on trading for a top of the rotation starter and two relievers.
