The Atlanta Braves under Alex Anthopoulos have been quiet in past offseasons, but we look at three big moves they could make to win a World Series.

They say a team can’t win a World Series in the winter, but we’re going to change that narrative by looking at three moves that can make the Atlanta Braves World Series championship in 2020.

To help us out with this, we took to Twitter and asked the fans what three moves this offseason they thought would make the Braves World Series contenders in 2020.

I didn’t put any limits on the moves, so we got some pretty wild stuff, but after tallying up the almost 100 responses we received, the answer from the fans was pretty obvious.

But before we get into the choices, we did get several rediculous and sarcastic responses that I’d like to share.

Maybe the most surprising thing is that we only had two people say Mike Trout. I thought there would be a lot more Mike Trout responses.

We had several people say the Braves need to fire Brian Snitker to win a World Series in 2020. Funny, but not happening.

A lot of people said “move out of Atlanta,” because Atlanta sports are cursed, apparently. Technically, didn’t they already move out of Atlanta?

One guy said, “sign Antonio Brown,” which gave me a good laugh.

This one may have been the best:

I also loved that one guy said to sign Matin Prodo to a one-day deal so that he can retire a Brave. He was kidding, but it would be really awesome. I’d drive to a game to see that happen.

Again, for this exercise, we’re not considering payroll constraints or financial flexibility, and we’re not getting into trade fits.

These are three players that the Braves have the ability to go get this offseason that would instantly make them World Series contenders.

We’ll start with who the fans chose and then I’ll give you my picks.
