LOS ANGELES, CA – OCTOBER 04: General manager Alex Anthopoulos and manager Brian Snitker #43 of the Atlanta Braves talk during batting practice prior to Game One of the National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on October 4, 2018 in Los Angeles, California. The Atlanta Braves are entering the offseason as the defending NL East champs once again, but it’s quite evident that they are not waiting on the market this season.

Just because you hold a division trophy doesn’t mean that there aren’t holes to fill throughout the roster and that this team is complete in any way, shape, or form. In fact, the Atlanta Braves potentially have many upgrades they can pursue on the horizon.

Alex Anthopoulos has already been both very vocal and very active on that topic this offseason.

We have compiled a list of three players from every team in Major League Baseball that the Atlanta Braves could theoretically try to trade for over the next few weeks or months.

Don’t expect this list to be all superstars or all household names for that part. This list was made to be realistic and also considered was the fact that the Braves have been openly public about their need to upgrade the bullpen (although they already have), upgrade the rotation, find a third baseman, possibly find another catcher and get rid of Flowers (wishful thinking), and possibly find another outfielder.

That was kept in mind while making this list, although that doesn’t mean this entire list will be made up of those players and we have gone outside the box on a couple of these picks.

We will start off with the teams that will most likely be the most difficult to deal with and that, of course, is the other NL East teams.

We will then follow that up with the other NL divisions before moving on to the American League teams.

With that said, let’s get started. At the end of this, let us know which players mentioned would really excite you and which one’s the Atlanta Braves should stay away from at all costs.
