MLB Trade Rumors recently put out their list of the top 25 trade targets. We look at five that could be of interest to the Atlanta Braves.

Alex Anthopoulos has done a great job of improving the Atlanta Braves this offseason without giving up any prospects.

But at some point that is going to have to change to put this team over the top for the 2020 season.

Recently MLB Trade Rumors did us all a favor by collecting the Top 25 Offseason Trade Candidates.

In all, they mention 72 players who could be available through a trade, but the Top 25 are the ones most likely to be moved.

Of course, the Braves have the prospect capital to get any player they want in a trade, but we’ll try to keep it realistic and focus just on the players ranked in their top 25.

I’m also going to rank them as my top 5 giving you the players I want to see the Braves go after the most.

Of course, we don’t know who all is available for a trade at this point, and the fact is we will probably have a better picture of who is available after the Winter Meetings next week.

I’ll probably do a follow-up to this after the Winter Meetings when we have a better picture of who is available.

But for now, we’ll stick with the list that MLBTR has provided for us. And hopefully we’ll see more action on these players during next week’s Winter Meetings, paving the way for other names to become available.
