In FanSided’s annual ranking of the top fandom’s, the Atlanta Braves came in ranked 156th in the FanSided 250.

As we well know here on Tomahawk Take, the Atlanta Braves have some of the best and most passionate fans in all of baseball.

That’s been proven in the FanSided 250 this year as the Braves ranked 156th overall and ranked ninth among MLB teams.

The Braves were ranked even higher among the fan vote coming in at 60 behind the Boston Red Sox (43), Los Angeles Dodgers (18), Washington Nationals (12), New York Yankees (8), and Houston Astros (7).

It’s a little interesting that the Nationals and Astros were ranked that high. I’m assuming a lot of that has to do with them being in the World Series this year.

And this list just doesn’t include teams, it also includes players, actors, and TV shows.

Game of Thrones ranked first among the fan vote, while Marvel ranked first overall.

This is obviously a very high honor for the Braves and their fans to be recognized among the biggest fandoms in our society.

Again, we’ve seen that fandom on display at Tomahawk Take as we continually get the highest number of pageviews for an MLB site on FanSided.

With the resurgence of the Braves after the rebuild, the fandom appears to be at an all-time high as Atlanta is set up to contend for World Series championships for the next decade.

There is a chance we are just at the beginning of a similar run that we saw from Atlanta in the ’90s. And hopefully in 2020 we will see them win the first of what we hope to be many Wolrd Series titles over the coming decade.

dark. Next. Strasburg deal a positive for Braves

With exciting players like Ronald Acuna Jr. and Ozzie Albies locked in for several more years, and maybe the most popular player in franchise history, Freddie Freeman, leading the way, there is no wonder why the Braves are so popular right now.
