With spring training getting underway for the Atlanta Braves and games right around the corner, we discuss the five biggest questions facing the team.

It’s been a pretty fun and fast offseason for the Atlanta Braves with a flurry of signings in the beginning and some big-name hunting at the end.

With spring training getting underway, we can finally work to move past the horrors of last October and start thinking optimistically about the season ahead.

While the Braves appear to be the most complete team on paper in the NL East, and Alex Anthopoulos did a great job of plugging those holes in the offseason, there are still some questions that need to be answered this Spring.

And before we get too far into spring training, let me state for the record that spring training stats are almost meaningless.

Having said that, you’d much rather see your hitters get hits and pitchers get outs than not.

There are several Braves players who will be under the microscope this Spring and every at-bat they take and every pitch they throw will have a lot of meaning.

While the wins and losses are certainly meaningless, the individual results can sometimes be significant — particularly for players who are fighting for a roster spot.

As we go through spring training in 2020 we will be bringing you daily coverage of each game talking about which players impressed the most and who could be on the cutting block.

And below are the five biggest questions that we hope to have answered by the time the team heads out West to start the season.
