The Atlanta Braves and the rest of MLB are now officially complete with the first week and a half or so of the 2020 Season.

It’s been eventful to say the least and their are no guarantees that we will make it through week two of the season, but we are going to present our weekly power rankings despite that, including the Atlanta Braves of course.

Let’s get started.

30. Pittsburgh Pirates

A 2-7 start is obviously not very good and things do not seem to get any easier this week when they begin a set with the Minnesota Twins.

29. Kansas City Royals

The Kansas City Royals have not had a good time since their World Series runs, but take notice of Whit Merrifield. He is a star in this league and deserving of more recognition.

28. Detroit Tigers

The Tigers started off a very surprising 5-3 before dropping both games in a doubleheader against the Reds Sunday afternoon.

27. Arizona Diamondbacks

The offense is a complete mess in the early part of the year and the starting pitching is equally as bad thus far. It might be time to rethink my prediction of them in the playoffs?

26. San Francisco Giants

I feel bad for San Francisco fans at this moment, they went from having Bruce Bochy as their skipper to having to watch Gabe Kapler try not running it all in the ground very quickly.

25. Baltimore Orioles

Last year, the Orioles were never out of the bottom three in our weekly rankings. Yet, here they are already besting that this season.

24. Seattle Mariners

Perhaps a great rookie of the year battle is shaping up in the American League? Kyle Lewis has tore the cover off the ball to start the 2020 season.

23. Los Angeles Angels

Good news is Mike Trout and wife had a baby. Bad news is Shohei Ohtani is having arm discomfort and is undergoing an MRI. Certainly not the news a pitching depleted Angels teams needed.

22. New York Mets

The Mets just cant help themselves can they. They have Yeonis Cespedes running around Atlanta and opting out. They muster only 1 run over the last two games of the weekend against Atlanta and blew a huge lead against the Atlanta Braves on Friday night. Poor Jacob deGrom.

21. Miami Marlins

The Marlins are 2-1. Obviously they are above .500. They partied and all got Covid. I think they really just wanted to finish the season with a winning record.
