The Atlanta Braves are only one win away from advancing to their first World Series in this century.

A ton of work is still left to be done, but make no mistake, the Atlanta Braves are on the verge of doing what hardly anyone though was possible.

Freddie Freeman, Ronald Acuna, Marcell Ozuna, Ozzie Albies, Max Fried, and a host of others have been huge in this NLCS versus the Los Angeles Dodgers, but honestly, you kind of expect that from those types of players.

These series, and frankly World Series are won by the bottom of the roster coming up huge and clutch.

In this case, the Atlanta Braves have had two players who single handedly in some form or fashion put the team on their shoulders and gave two outstanding performances.

Of course we are talking about Huascar Ynoa, and Bryse Wilson.

It’s easy to look at game three of this series and just completely write it off from a Braves perspective, but the fact is somebody still had to pitch and get outs. It could have easily took 3 or 4 more pitchers that day to get all 27 outs but the job Huascar Ynoa did was nothing short of spectacular.

Four innings of 0 hit ball on 92 pitches. In turn, saving a ton of bullpen arms who were available last night in game four and possibly for game 5 as well.

If the Atlanta Braves are able to close out this series, a little more of Ynoa’s performance in game three should go noticed.

By far the biggest hero (so far) of this series for the Atlanta Braves is Bryse Wilson. Going up against a hall of famer, and a team that just demolished you a night before when you have never started a playoff game is a tall, tall challenge.

A challenge that Bryse Wilson stepped up to last night and completely conquered.

He was magnificent and turned in his best career start to date of his young career. 6 innings of 1 hit ball, and had all his pitches moving just the way he wanted. The high powered Dodger offense had no answer for. In the process, he gave the momentum back to the Atlanta Braves.

Next. Just 1 more. dark

So if the Atlanta Braves move forward and win this series, let’s give a little more love to Ynoa and Wilson. Without them, the Atlanta Braves are probably at best tied in this series.
