Atlanta Braves: The early shuffled up Power Rankings

11. Minnesota Twins- The Twins blew a lead against the Brewers on opening day but bounced back to take down the Brew crew two out of three. Bad news on the injury front though as Josh Donaldson is already injured.

12. Cincinnati Reds- Nick Castellanos had himself an interesting weekend as he was in the middle of a dustup with the Cardinals. Then Sunday, he turned around and mashed the Reds to a series win.

13. Seattle Mariners- The Mariners started the season off in good fashion as they took two out of three against the Giants. One of those two wins was a comeback win on opening day.

14. Kansas City Royals- The Royals come out on fire offensively as they scored 25 runs over the teams’ first two games. If they can keep swinging it like that, and some of there young pitching comes through, they may be a quiet sleeper.

15. Washington Nationals- Obviously nothing to go off here, but the Nationals and Atlanta Braves seemed poised to finally start their series on Tuesday afternoon.

16. Detroit Tigers- It was good to see old buddy Julio Teheran pitch well for the Tigers on Saturday. Hopefully he can find his footing once again for the first-place Tigers.

17. Milwaukee Brewers- The Brewers already have Woodruff, but if Corbin Burnes continues to pitch like that, they have two legit starters at the top of the teams’ rotation and will be in the middle of the NL Central race.

18. St. Louis Cardinals- If the Cardinals want to win the Central and make any noise in the 2021 season, the pitching will have to do a complete 180 from where it started the season this past weekend.

19. New York Yankees- The Yankees vaunted offense mustered only a few runs against the Jays this opening weekend. Much like the Atlanta Braves though, you do not really worry about this team’s bats as they will eventually show up.

20. Cleveland Indians- The Indians needed a late rally Sunday to avoid being swept by the Detroit Tigers. I expect a lot of winning and losing streaks for this team this year as when the offense is going, they will be fine, but if not….
