As most of us Atlanta Braves fans still have a sour taste in our mouth after most likely getting robbed of a game last night, life goes on.

With that being said, we just concluded another week of MLB action and with that, we present our weekly MLB power rankings which obviously include the Atlanta Braves.

1. Los Angeles Dodgers- The Dodgers have done nothing so far to fairly remove the favorite tag that they have. This team in the early going looks just as good as they were last season.

2. San Diego Padres- Congratulations go out to Joe Musgrove who not only threw the first no-hitter of the 2021 season but the first in San Diego Padres history. In only his second team start no less.

3. Houston Astros- Things were going smoothly for the Astros on their redemption tour before dropping two straight to the Athletics to close out the week.

4. Cincinnati Reds- So far, the biggest story of the year is the powerhouse hitter Tyler Naquin coming out of the gate. Most likely that won’t stay long term but the bigger question is will the Reds early success?

5. Boston Red Sox- What a difference a week makes. The Red Sox come back after getting swept in their opening series to sweep the next two series for themselves to be in the early lead for the AL East.

6. Los Angeles Angels- Tough break for the Angels as things were going smoothly until Dexter Fowler tore his ACL over the weekend putting a very early end to his 2021 season.

7. Philadelphia Phillies- As far as the gift the Phillies got Sunday, let’s just hope for the Atlanta Braves’ sake that the one game will not matter come September or October.

8. Cleveland Indians- I still believe the Indians are the third-best team in the AL central, but give them credit for beating up on the Royals and Tigers, who are the only two teams they have played thus far.

9. San Francisco Giants- The early season surprising Giants certainly have to be loving the version of Evan Longoria they have been seeing so far. He’s playing as he did in his perennial all-star days with the Rays.

10. Atlanta Braves- Trying to move on from Sunday night’s game is the goal. The bottom line is if the Atlanta Braves are to make serious noise this year, they need Will Smith to be more consistent than he has so far.
