The Atlanta Braves have righted the ship in this series against the Chicago Cubs including Wednesday nights 10-0 victory.

It certainly seems the Atlanta Braves have decided to take out any frustration they had this past weekend out on the Chicago Cubs as they shut them out once again on Wednesday evening.

This time, the offense decided to have a lot of fun as well as they put across 10 runs in the process, leaving me with the need to face Hendricks every day.

The Atlanta Braves pitching staff has not allowed a run since the 7th inning in Monday night’s victory.

The good news is it feels like an eternity since some were, for whatever, reason writing off the Atlanta Braves. They are now tied for first place (More on that in a bit), and albeit a three game streak, tied for the longest winning streak in the game.

For now though, let’s get to the highlights of maybe the most complete win of the young season thus far.

Huascar Ynoa has been the glue that held us together pitching wise in April.

Raise your hand if you had Huascar Ynoa as the Atlanta Braves pitcher of the month in April. I would tell you to put your hands down now, but no one would have them raised.

It’s been fun to watch as Ynoa has seemingly figured it out and has turned the proverbial corner that we always hear about.

An ERA under 3, more than a strikeout per inning, and his WHIP is under 1. This does not even include how the kid, yes he is still only 22, has been absolutely raking at the plate making the Universal DH a moot point for the Atlanta Braves in his starts.

He has went 4-5 over his last two games started, which obviously includes his first career home run in the Wednesday contest.

If Ynoa can continue this success and give the Atlanta Braves this kind of pitching start in and start out, we seemingly have a 1-4 staff that will anchor the rotation for the next half decade at least with himelf, Anderson, Fried, and Soroka.

It might not be 90’s Atlanta Braves good, but if Ynoa can continue things like he did on Wednesday, the Atlanta Braves will be just fine.
