After a tough loss in Game 1 the Atlanta Braves will try to bounce back and even the series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday.

The Atlanta Braves let some key opportunities slip through their hands in Game 1 and now are pretty much in a must-win situation in Game 2.

This NLDS matchup between the Braves and Brewers will be televised on TBS. Announcers for the series will be Don Orsillo, Jeff Francouer, and Matt Winer.

Braves vs. Brewers Odds Today

The Atlanta Braves are a slight favorite according to our friends at the WynnBET Sportsbook.

Anderson has not nearly been as pitch-efficient as either Morton or Fried before him, but he has been able to get into (and beyond) the 6th inning in each of his last 3 starts.

Hopefully, having 11 days off allows that trend to continue.

Braves vs Brewers Prediction Today

The Braves have held Milwaukee to just 2 runs so far, but the Braves only have four.  Since returning from the injured list, Peralta has not been the Peralta of this first half of the season.

In August through September, his ERA has been 4.70+, though he’s still managed to strike out 40 in 36.1 innings during those months.

Expect Atlanta to try and work counts deep … and strike out a lot.

Peralta is #1 in the majors in whiffs on balls in the strike zone, but all it may take is a couple of squared-up pitches to provide enough runs to win… and he’s yielded 4 homers in the last month.

So let’s go out on a limb and call for each team to match their run output for the series… meaning that Atlanta wins 4-2.
