Atlanta Braves: A Tale of 2 Splits

When the Atlanta Braves started the season 5-0…

…the every day fans thought that maybe, just maybe, this team had something special.  Then, when the team dropped 9 of their next 13, the fans jumped off the bandwagon and snapped back to reality.  Now that the Braves crushed the Washington Nationals last night, many a fan are keeping one foot on the wagon and dragging the other in the dirt.

Although the cast is different, prior to the season I wrote up a piece called “Can the Atlanta Braves 2015 offense be average?”, and while the cast may have changed since that post,  the fact has remained: this offense is built on match-ups.
