It’s official, Mike Minor has won his arbitration case against the Atlanta Braves.  The 27-year-old will earn $5.6 million in 2015.

Minor had a frustration season in 2014, starting with an offseason surgery to his urethra followed by shoulder soreness in Spring Training.  After finally getting back on the field, he went 6-12 on the mound with a 4.77 ERA.

“Last year, I felt weak, I felt rushed, I felt behind and all of those emotions of coming in here and not really being able to do anything,” Minor said.  “This year, I feel like I’ve had a good offseason.  I’ve been throwing bullpens, working out and doing all the right things.  So it feels more normal coming in here.”
